Bao Bao's First Birthday

Homework

For my homework I have to do 4 walks or a run around a local walk. For my walks my dad, mum and I have gone to Mount Maunganui, Papamoa hills, Kaiate falls and Karngahake gorge here are some photos of the walks we have done.

Dinner homework

For my Rimu homework challenges I have prepared a 3 corse meal for my family. We had scallops wrapped in bacon for the Entrée and the main we had roast and vegetables lamb and for dessert we had carrot cake. Here are some photos of the meal and the making.

Dangerous Decibels

Today at 12 O'clock my class went to the Whare to go and learn about Dangerous Decibels. Toni the lady teaching us handed out some tuning forks then we banged them on the ground and it made a ting, we put the fork about 20cm away from out ear and out ears felt VERY weird! Then we got some pingpong balls and then banged the tuning fork and put the fork on the ball and it kept bouncing off!
And we learnt about how loud sounds can affect our hearing.

Make something out of recycled materials (Homework challenge)

For my homework I have chosen to make something out of Recycled Materials. I made a peg gun that shoots match sticks.
